Over the last 20 years, Rob has dedicated himself to teaching graduate and undergraduate students in such courses as "Retail and Channel Management"," Internet Marketing" and "Consumer Behaviour". His ability to educate, mentor and coach students taking "New Venture Analysis" through their participation in business plan competitions around the world resulted in in his student teams attaining more than 50-1st place finishes, with numerous groups landing in top-five positions. During his time at the UofM, he also developed what is now known as the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship which delivered programs for Asper School of Business students, provided support for local business owners and created outreach programs for Manitoba youth.  He has shared his expertise at colleges, universities and conferences around the world, as both a sessional instructor and a guest speaker, and he became a well-respected instructor at the University of Texas at Austin.

Rob worked for the Province of Manitoba for a year, helping to design financial support programs for new and existing local businesses. He is frequently sought out by entrepreneurs and small-to-medium sized businesses for consultation, and he continues to be a reference for local and national media on business related issues.

Michu Benaim Steiner is a serial entrepreneur who is currently a Partner at In-House International, a creative firm in Austin, TX providing many services (from logo and content strategy development, to books, mobile apps, and motion graphics), serving a variety of clients including the United Nations and TED Conferences. Previously, she founded Gopher Illustrated (a design and culture magazine), and was Director of Corporate Communications for UnoLink, a digital signage agency in South America. She has also consulted for clients such as UNFPA, Nordstrom, and Stanford-affiliated accelerator, Start. She also launched the beta version of a civic data app called Citymatter. Michu has a B.A. in Comparative Literature and Philosophy from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from The McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin.

Marshall is a Manitoba-based, third generation, serial entrepreneur and over the past 23 years, his passion for taking great ideas and helping them to grow has involved him in ventures ranging from entertainment to non-profit to manufacturing. Marshall is currently the Managing Director of Westcap AG Corp, an innovative agricultural product manufacturer and supply company he recently formed with Lonny Thiessen (Pres., Western Manufacturing, Profit Magazine’s “Fastest Growing manufacturing company of 2015”). In his new role he is focused on serving the constantly evolving farming industry and building what he believes in the next 5 years will become a $100+MM Ag product company.

Originally from British Columbia, Randy is the Principal Partner of Hawk Hill Partners, a management consulting company focusing on early to mid-stage companies in the areas of strategic planning, executive coaching and operational management. Over the last 30 years, Randy has been involved in a number of start-up businesses as well as ongoing companies in ownership, investment and advisory capacities. In 2007, he was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of the Top 50 Business Leaders in Oregon. He retired from his position of Director of the Lundquist Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon in 2013.

Nick is a Thailand-based investor and entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience as a founder or co-founder of ventures in an array of industries including management consulting, digital marketing, real-estate development & management, and alternative energy. He is currently a faculty member at the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration. In 2011, Nick is the founder and Director of the Sasin Center for Sustainability Management, and the co-founder of the Sasin Entrepreneurship Center. He is deeply involved with multiple non-profit organizations such as the Inventors Association of Thailand and Net Impact, and is Thailand’s representative to the Caux Round Table. In 2011, Nick  was honoured by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a Young Global Leader.

Ross Finlay is a Co-Founder and Director of First Angel Network Association, Atlantic Canada’s association for private investors. He is a board member and past Co-Chair of the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), and is a Director of the U.S. Angel Capital Association. Ross is Vice Chair of International Education and Trustee of the Angel Resource Institute (of the Kaufmann Foundation).
He has assisted in the development and review of countless business plans for start-up companies. Ross has extensive business networks throughout the world and has written as a regular columnist for Atlantic Business Magazine and for Progress Magazine.

The Mean Eyed Cat was founded in 2015 by Robert Warren, an educator, an entrepreneur and an individual whose passion is helping other people and their businesses succeed.

A Winnipegger, born and raised, Rob earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Manitoba and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University in New York. After completing his degree, he worked in New York, D.C., and North Dakota before being hired by the University of Manitoba to develop programs for the Faculty of Management.

Laura is founder and managing director Triton Ventures, LLC, a venture capital fund investing in spin-out and early-stage technology companies. With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in commercializing technology, Ms. Kilcrease has a deep understanding of how to cultivate new opportunities to "grow businesses around businesses" as well as how to d-consruct and reconstruct business models to achieve significant results. As a recognized authority on developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem, she is also a serial entrepreneur and the founder of the Central Texas Angel Network. She was a consultant to the Government of Alberta and the Entrepreneur in Residence at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2017, she will be the new CEO of Alberta Innovates.

Marshall Zacharias

A Venture Capitalist originally from Israel, Harry has been involved in the development of Israel's high-tech sector in the areas of R&D, engineering, marketing, management and investment. He is also been a consultant to Israel's National Economic Council in the Prime Minister's Office and held positions with various international government agencies. Harry is a researcher in entrepreneurial finance, working at The Technion University in Israel. He is teaching his courses in Israel, Uruguay, India and China and serves on the Advisory Board of iCreate, the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem flagship project in Ahmedabad.
