The Mean Eyed Cat & Startup Grind Winnipeg are proud to introduce our March presenter, Dr. Jack Peterson.

                                           Cogmation founder, fundraiser, and garbage-man, Jack Peterson recognized a good idea when he saw it

                                           as the former manager of the University of Manitoba’s business incubator. With a PhD in Expert Systems

                                           from way back, Jack was into artificial intelligence long before it was even a thing. In a past life, Dr. Peterson

                                           was the CEO of Infocorp, taking his fledgling retail systems company all the way from founding through

                                           initial public offering on the both the TSX and U.S. exchanges.

                                          Dr. Peterson earned his BSc and his M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba and he earned his Ph.D. from the 

                                          University of Bath in the United Kingdom.
